Moglia To Teach Life Skills To Cornhuskers

TD Ameritrade's Chairman and now former CEO will bring to life the thoughts and tactics he wrote about in his book, "Coach Yourself To Success: Winning The Investment Game." University of Nebraska announced that Joe Moglia will join the staff of their "Life Skills Department."
Moglia is no stranger to football. According to NU he's a former defensive coordinator for Dartmouth College where he won two Ivy League championships, back-to-back no less. He also wrote the book, "The Perimeter Attack Offense," so apparently his skills extend to both sides of the playing field.

“Joe is organized, systematic and has the ability to get things done,” said NU Athletic Director Tom Osborne. “I’ve known him for three or four years and had the opportunity to become better acquainted with him the past six months. While he will not be coaching, he’ll be very active in life skills. He can interact with student-athletes in all of our sports programs and teach them the fundamentals of finance and how to invest."

We applaud Moglia's efforts to teach ball players skills that extend beyond the playing field. Who knows, maybe this will kick-start a nation-wide effort to actually teach college athletes, or all college students for that matter, a thing or two about life and money.
